Jeonju
World Cup Stadium is built in the shape of a fan. It symbolizes
a city advancing into the world. The main column of the stadium
wishes for a good harvest and the continuing development of Jeonju.
The stadium is especially beautiful at night. With its majestic
and soft lighting, the stadium expresses the power and future of
Jeonju. With upward lighting. the architectural symbolism lies in
three dimensions. The stadium is located near the Jeonju Interchange
and covers an area of over 627,929§³. It has 6 floors and a basement,
and it seats 42,477.
TRANSPORTATION
As
Korea's first theme museum for the visitor's experience purpose,
it was established under full assistance of Pan Asia Paper Korea
This museum shows the history of paper and the visitors can learn
about the Korean traditional Pulp called Hanji. Here visitors can
also experience making the Korean Paper. For Group visiting, reservation
should be made in advance.
How
to get there: 30km from Jeonju Station, take city bus (35 minutes)
Jeonju
Arboretum can be found by turning at Jeonju Interchange of Honam
Expressway. The total area of the Arboretum is 285 acres wide and
here grow 1,021 kinds of trees and 990 kinds of grass. It is never
closed between 09:00~18:00 and is free of admission.
